Westwind will be hosting a "Teen Angst" reading on Tuesday, February 9, to honor Valentine's day with the most sullen, angsty, and poorly-written poetry and prose you can unearth! The reading will be open to any willing participants, so dig out your most depressing teenage writing, even journal entries. We will also feature some of the more embarrassing pieces written by our own Westwind staff in their youth, a "bad art" exhibit, a magnetic poetry wall (like the kind you probably have on your fridge at home, but MUCH BIGGER), and -- THERE WILL BE COOKIES. It's going to happen in the Kerkhoff Art Gallery at 5:00, and yeah, it's the middle of sixth week, but you could come in on the way back from class, so take a break from studying alone and feel lonely with everyone else. There will be a prize for the worst poem, and you know you want that.
